Abstract
치과치료에서의 심미성 회복에 대한 환자들의 요구는 점차 커지는 추세이며 이러한 치아의 심미적 치과치료에 대한 요구는 영구치에 국한된 것이 아니라 최근에는 유치에서의 심미치료도 중요하게 여겨지고 있다. 치아의 심미성을 결정하는 많은 요소들 중에서 색상과 관련해서는 치과재료의 발달과 함께 많은 변화가 있는 분야이다. 본 연구는 상악 유절치의 색조특성을 분석하고자 digital shade analysis system의 일종인 ShadeScan {TM} system(Cynovad, Canada)을 이용하여 건강한 상악 유절치의 색조를 분석하였다.
1. 치경부에서는 D2와 D3가 많이 분포되어 있었으며 모든 치아에서 D2가 가장 높은 빈도수를 보였다.
2. 중앙부에서는 C1, D2, B1이 대부분을 차지하였으며 상악 좌측 유측절치를 제외한 나머지 치아에서 C1이 가장 높은 빈도를 보였고 상악 좌측 유측절치는 D2가 가장 높은 빈도를 보였다.
3. 절단부에서는 A2가 대부분을 차지하였으며 다음으로 D2가 많았다. 모든 치아에서 A2가 가장 높은 빈도를 보였으며 다른 부위에 비하여 색조가 A2에 편중되는 경향을 보였다.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the shade of primary incisors. One hundred and nineteen children 394 maxillary anterior primary incisors were assessed. Digital shade analysing system (ShadeScan {TM}, Cynovad, Canada) was used for measuring the shades This system enabled to improve the accuracy and objectivity The images of the teeth were taken with ShadeScan {TM} and shade maps of the teeth were obtained with ShadeScan {TM} software. The shades of three regions (cervical third middle third, incisal third) of the teeth were evaluated.
The results were as follows :
1. In cervical third of primary incisors, D2 and D3 were the major shades and D2 was the most frequent shade.
2. In middle third of primary incisors, C1, D2, and B1 were the major shades and C1 was the most frequent shade.
3. In incisal third of primary incisors, A2 was the most frequent shade and D2 shade followed.
